An interesting find in Houghton |
A 15th Century French reckoning counter was recently unearthed in Winterborne Houghton about 150 yards north of the Winterborne. Interesting but not particularly rare according to the British Museum. Details here

It is interesting that when the coin is 'flipped' the images are seen to be misaligned by about 45 degrees.
