A splendid village event organised by Rose Grant, took place on May 15th 2004 in Rose's orchard. This included crowning the May Queen followed by Morris Dancing and a barbecue. As at several recent events in the village, Rose provided a number of different varieties of her locally produced cider. Some of these were pressed from apples grown in the orchard.

Around 50 people from the village attended in near perfect spring weather.
